Earthquakes Charts from July through to December 2010
These charts display the frequency of earthquakes at various magnitudes day by day for the second part of 2010.
While not every alignment coincides with major earthquakes, it would appear that every major earthquake coincides with an alignment.
Earthquake Energy Chart October to December 2010
A: Earth, Venus and Mercury in alignment.
Magnitude 7.7 – KEPULAUAN MENTAWAI REGION, INDONESIA 2010 October 25 14:42:22 UTC
One curiosity is the magnitude 7.7 Kepulauan Mentawai Indonesia earthquake on October 25th. It doesn’t fit any of the obvious alignments however it coincides with a perfect alignment between Earth, Venus and Mercury. Mercury however was on the opposite side of the Sun. Could be just a coincidental alignment or perhaps even alignments as seemingly insignificant as this do matter? Or perhaps it wasn’t a natural event…
Update: The Moon was not directly in line with Orion but about 2 days ahead of that alignment. So at first glance it would seem to not fit the pattern observed so far for many of the large earthquakes in the past 10 years.
However the Moon is in almost the exact same position as Japan’s magnitude 9.0 earthquake on March 11 2001 and the magnitude 8.1 earthquake North of Macquarie Island on December 23rd 2004. That is within 1 hour over a period of 30 days or half a degree.

Magnitude 7.4 Earthquake BONIN ISLANDS, JAPAN December 21, 2010 at 17:19 UTC
The December 21st Bonin Island earthquake occurred virtually on the winter solstice and just hours after the full lunar eclipse.
This earthquake like the October 25th earthquake in Indonesia, registered as massive movements on seismographs around the world. The world wide plate movements or world wide wobble continued for over 2 hours. Over 50 magnitude 5 earthquakes were recorded in this location within 24 hours of the quake.

Magnitude 7.3 earthquake VANUATU REGION December 25, 2010 at 13:16 UTC
This is will probably be the last large earthquake of the year as the Earth moves out of the Sun, Earth, Black Sun alignment.
The total earthquake energy each day is calculated using the Richter and Gutenberg seismic energy method. Data source is the USGS
Energy = 10^(11.8+1.5*Magnitude)
The x axis displays energy in Joules x 10^-21. This value is also displayed as a logarithmic value using the same Richter and Gutenberg seismic energy method. The log value is then multiplied by a factor 100 and a value of 525 subtracted to keep it within a reasonable range on the chart. The log values are not intended to be read directly from the chart but are there to emphasize the fluctuations in energy released by earthquakes each day.
The total earthquakes on each day is based on the data from the USGS which includes earthquakes over magnitude 2.5 within the US and 3.5 worldwide.

While the frequency and intensity of Earthquakes has been increasing for the past decade.
When the Earth and Moon align in the direction of Orion, without any outer planets nearby. Mega quakes can and do occur.
As Evidenced In Previous Large Earthquakes, Especially the December 26 Sumatra Quake in 2004.
The biggest quake of the Millennium to date is the 9.1 Richter scale earthquake that hit Sumatra on December 26, 2004 at 12:58 AM UTC. Over 220.000 people lost their lives in the resulting tsunami.
This earthquake coincided with an alignment between the Moon, Earth and the Galactic plane or Earth, Moon and Orion depending on which way you look at it.

On the left side, the Solar system is viewed from the perspective of the star Vega and orientated so that Orion would be at the 12 o’clock position.
The top right is the location of the moon in the sky when viewed from Earth, it is just above Orion.
The bottom right displays the Earth when viewed from the moon at the moment the quake struck. The Earth and Moon are in alignment with the Galactic plane.
The 7.0 Earthquake that struck Hati on January 12th of this year occurred at a near identical alignment of the Earth and Moon except in reverse.
On the left side, the Solar system is orientated so that Orion would be at the 12 o’clock position.
The top right is the location of the Earth in the sky when viewed from the Moon, it is just above Orion in almost the exact position as the Moon had been the 2004 Boxing Day Sumatra earthquake.
The bottom right displays the Moon when viewed from the Earth at the moment the quake struck. The Earth and Moon are in alignment with the Galactic plane.
There have been numerous other major earthquakes this year during the period when the Earth has been on the far side of the Sun versus the Black Sun. Many forming alignments and near alignments with Jupiter, our Sun and sometimes Saturn.
For example the Magnitude 8.8 offshore Maule, Chile quake on February 27, 2010 was very close to an Earth, Sun, Jupiter alignment.
The next clear example of a major earthquake coinciding with the Earth, Moon, Black Sun alignment occurred on June 12th.
Magnitude 7.5 – Nicobar Islands Region, India, June 12, 2010 at 19:26:50 UTC.
That is 2 out of 16 major earthquakes (magnitude 7+) so far this year that match the alignment of the 2004 Sumatra earthquake almost exactly.
Then just to confuse things a little. The next 2 candidates major quakes occurring on an alignment between the Earth, Moon and Black Sun, don’t line up exactly with the 2004 Sumatra earthquake and yet match each other very closely but with reverse alignments.

There were actually 3 large earthquakes is quick succession. Magnitude 7.4 at 22:08 UTC, Magnitude 7.6 at 22:51 UTC and a magnitude 7.3 at 23:15 UTC.
Magnitude 7.0 – South Island of New Zealand, September 03, 2010 at 16:35:46 UTC
Although not exact, the difference in the alignments between these Mindanao earthquake and the Christchurch quake is less than 1 hour of motion of the Moon against the sky.
So why am I suggesting that from October 28th 2010 through to February 2011, there are going to be mega quakes?
When you check the layout of the planets in our Solar System for the last part of this year and the beginning of next year, you’ll discover that the Earth and Moon are the closest objects to the region where the Black Sun is most likely located. This is not a common situation, as normally one of the giant outer planets or Mars is in the firing line, so to speak. The worst time is likely to be around December 22nd this year but it could already be quite bad long before that.
Assuming that we get through this year relatively unscathed. the last part of 2012 will be a repeat performance but with the Solar System in even closer proximity to the the Black Sun if we haven’t already passed through the point of periapsis by then.
